Previous preparations. Before traveling we will ask you to send us some medical tests, our team will guide you so that you can do it correctly in your country of residence, and your Experience Coach will help you find the ideal airline tickets for your trip.
Arriving in Cartagena. One of our private drivers will be waiting for you at the airport upon your arrival in Cartagena, he will help you with your luggage and take you safely to our Recovery House, located in a building facing the sea.
Pre-operative consultation. After you have settled in, you will have your preoperative consultation with Dr. Fulvio Correa. In this space, every detail of what you want to achieve will be reviewed and a surgical plan will be made. In addition, our team will accompany you so that you can have your anesthesia evaluation and have Ready medications and accessories that you will need after your surgery.
Preparation for your surgery. Before entering the operating room, Dr Fulvio Correa will see you in the preoperative room, where the final preparations and marking will be done.
Surgery. Returning home. Yes. Safety depends primarily on the surgeon’s expertise, facilities, and medical protocols. Our procedures are performed in accredited environments that meet international standards.
Length of stay varies by procedure, but most patients are advised to remain in Cartagena for 7–14 days to ensure proper recovery before traveling.
It is not mandatory, but may be recommended in some cases. Our team provides support throughout the recovery process.

Eligibility is determined through an initial virtual consultation where your goals, medical history, and expectations are assessed.
R: The pre-surgical tests that are frequently requested are hemogram, glycemia, BUN, creatinine, pregnancy test, coagulation tests, breast ultrasound, HIV, COVID PCR test, uroanlysis and electrocardiogram in order to evaluate the patient’s previous condition and ensure that he/she is a candidate for surgery. R: If you reside abroad you must travel to Colombia at least 2 days before your surgical procedure.

It is important that they are in good general health and have realistic expectations about the results.
R: Yes, we have a recovery house where we offer nursing and food service during your stay before, during and after the surgical procedure, approximately 10 to 20 days. We also provide transportation service from the airport to the recovery house.
For the safety of patients there is a maximum BMI value allowed to perform cosmetic surgery in order to preserve the welfare of the patient.
R: The recovery time after a reduction mammoplasty is approximately two months, however, you can resume your daily activities after 15 days.
R: The recovery time after a breast pexy is approximately 2 months, however, you can resume your activities from the week following the procedure.
R: The recovery time after abdominoplasty is at least 2 months, however, you can return to your daily activities after 20 days.
Perform physical exercise after 1 month postoperatively.
Perform at least 20 lymphatic drainages, starting the day after the surgical procedure.
Do not consume foods such as grains and vegetables such as spinach.
Increase consumption of fiber-rich foods such as oatmeal, flaxseed and fruits such as papaya and pitaya.
Do not expose yourself to the sun for at least 1 month.
Make use of the compression garment, the first month for 24 hours a day and from the second month 12 hours a day.
